We've all seen debates between incumbents and challengers. It's always the challenger's role to put the incumbent on the defensive, especially if the incumbent has been under performing. The incumbent MUST then instill confidence in the viewer that things are either good, or at least headed in the right direction.
Pinal Supervisor Mike Goodman has failed to do this, not only in the debates, but even in his own campaign literature. His version seems to be "It's not my fault" instead of "This is what I'm doing."
Chuck Gray, on the other hand, is all about doing. His experience in getting things done shows in his track record. When he talks about what he wants to do and how he'll do it, he does instill the confidence that Mr. Goodman does not.
